So You Have Decided To Get Married!

After making this momentus committment to another person, what needs to be done for the Marriage Ceremony to take place?

  1. Provisionally set the date and time for the Ceremony as far ahead as possible (but no more than 18 months) as there are legal requirements that need to be completed at a minimum of one month and one day ahead of the Marriage Ceremony.
  2. Click on Legal to check that you both meet the requirements to be legally married in Australia.
  3. Choose your Celebrant. Fill out the Contact Me form to check my availibilty and arrange our first meeting.
  4. Once you have decided to use my services as your Celebrant, confirm all provisional bookings.
  5. Fill in the NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage Form) as far as possible. We can complete this at our first meeting. I must have this signed form in my hands at least one month and one day before the Ceremony.
  6. Once I have the NOIM safely in my hands and we have confirmed the Ceremony date with the holding deposit, I will give you an Interview Sheet to complete. I use this form to create your very personal and unique Ceremony.
