Creating Your Unique Marriage Ceremony!

After we have completed the 6 steps outlined on the previous page, we will proceed as follows:

  1. With the NOIM safely lodged with me, we can start to design the Marriage Ceremony that you have always wanted. I will provide you with examples of readings and vows that you can use to to help you write your own very special vows and I will also supply you with links to various web sites and resources for your use.
  2. We may have a few meetings or correspond with each other a lot before the Marriage Ceremony to make sure that your unique Ceremony is exactly what you want. We will discuss the various options for Rituals and practices such as Sand Pouring, Wine Sharing, Unity Candle Lighting, Rose Ceremony, Stone Throwing (NO, not at each other) or any other ritual that may be considered important by multicultural families today. Where there are children in the Bridal Family there are great ways to include them in the Marriage Ceremony so that the whole Ceremony becomes a uniting and bonding one. Introducing such things as clothing, special and meaningful words or symbols from the Bride's or Groom's culture can really enhance the Ceremony.
  3. There may a necessity for certain props to be used in your Marriage Ceremony. I can supply, mostly free of charge, the signing table, public address system including seperate mics for the bridal couple and the readers (extra charge applies), sand pouring vessels, candlesticks, wine glass and many others. Please ask me what I have available for your use.
  4. There is always the possibility of including a Spiritual Essence in the Ceremony. Even if neither of you is particularly religious, a form of non-denominational prayer or blessing or spiritual reading can make all the difference to your Marriage Ceremony.
  5. There is now nothing more for you to do regarding the Ceremony, so sit back and relax in the sure knowledge that Ron has created a Marriage ceremony that will long be remembered.
